We are delighted to share the news that Mrs Natalie Turvey has been appointed as the new Associate Head of School at Hazel Grove Primary School.
Mrs Turvey joins the Hazel Grove Primary team with a wealth of experience in primary education and school leadership. Currently as the Laurus Trust’s Director of Primary Curriculum, Natalie has played a key role in shaping and developing high-quality teaching and learning across the Trust primary schools.

Throughout her career, Mrs Turvey has demonstrated a strong commitment to delivering excellent outcomes for pupils, alongside a deep passion for curriculum development and staff development.
Prior to this role, Mrs Turvey has held a range of leadership positions including Head of Year at Beaver Road Primary School; governor at two schools and a Local leader of Mathematics Education. Mrs Turvey is an accredited Professional Development Lead as well as a Key Stage Two Writing Moderator for Manchester.

On being appointed as Associate Head of School, Mrs Turvey said:
“I am absolutely delighted to be part of the Hazel Grove Primary School community. Since joining the school last September, I have seen first-hand the dedication of staff and the enthusiasm of pupils. I am very much looking forward to working closely with the team to continue building on the school’s strengths and supporting every child to achieve their very best.”

In her new role, Mrs Turvey will work closely with staff, pupils and families to support the continued development of Hazel Grove Primary School. Her focus will include strengthening teaching and learning outcomes, supporting staff development and ensuring that every child enjoys a high-quality, enriching educational experience.
