The percentage of pupils achieving a ‘good level of development’ (at least ‘expected’ attainment in Reading, Writing and Maths) in 2024 was 48% compared with national average of 67.2%.
Year 1 phonics screening
In 2024, the percentage of children passing the phonics screening check was 72% compared with the national figure of 80%.
